Hi,
As a fellow Wildland Firefighter Wife, I know you can understand this!
Why is it that the little creatures that are supposed to live OUTSIDE, always choose fire season to try and move in? My husband is away in Montana right now, and wouldn't you know it, a mouse tried to take up occupancy in MY ROOM! If you have cats, you know the familiar sound of the cats chasing something....but it is not what I wanted to hear at 4am when there was no man next to me to rescue me from the big, bad, scary mouse. So I tried to go back to sleep and pretend they were just chasing each other. About 6am I finally faced the facts that there was definitely something in my room, and then I saw it! The little booger ran around my room, and then we lost it. All day I kept an eye out for our new little friend. Finally about 12:30 PM I noticed one of the cats watching under my daughters bed. It took us about 30 minutes to catch the little thing.....you know a large kitchen bowl has many uses!
Why can't these little guys wait and try and move in when my husband is here?
