Oh No!!!

My husband and his crew are on the last fire assignment for the year. They are out on the Poomatcha Fire (Southern CA) until tomorrow. Because of the wonderful guidelines from the National Government, the firefighters are not allowed to work past 1089 hours in a season. However, they can work them longer, but that means that crew won't be on until later in fire season. Anyways, their last day for the crew is Thursday, and I think they are all counting the hours until quittin' time. They have been gone a lot this year!!! Thursday night is the annual end-of-the-season party. We all meet at this restaruant for drinks, dinner and good times. Everyone usually stays at the hotel around the corner, so we all stay at the restaraunt/bar until closing time (last call for alcohol...2:00AM). It is a lot of fun, and to "let their hair down" after a lot of work. Anyways, my husband and I went shopping the other day and he bought me a nice top to wear with my jeans. It is scoop neck style, so I show a little skin!! This morning as I was brushing my teeth, I noticed this bright RED zit right in the middle of my chest. Where it is, it would be clearly visible to everyone. If it is still there, I will try to cover it up with make-up, and hope that nobody notices my 30-year-old zit outbreak. I have more zits now than I had when I was growing up. Today I bought some maximum strength zit cream, hoping to cake it on tonight. I am not trying to impress anyone (other than hubby) but I also don't want to stand out........BOSS'S WIFE HAS A HUGE RED ZIT!! On a happy note, this party is also a little congratulations for my husband from his crew. While on the last fire assignment, he recieved a promotion. What a place to get a promotion..........a fire!! Go figure, where else would you find a fireman during fire season??? So I'm looking forward to seeing the crew again and celebrate with my husband. I'm just hoping I don't get anymore break-outs before then...........
