My husband's crew is almost ready to be "available" for fire dispatch. This means they've finished their critical training and the only thing left........Annual Family Day!! I always enjoy this picnic/BBQ because I get to meet his firefighters and put a face to a name. The Captain's wife (ST) and I are "flagging" tables and holding our spot at this park. Not only will it be a Sunday, but it's Memorial Day weekend. Oh well. Get your tummy ready for the traditional carne asada, chips, guacamole, beans, etc etc. Can't you tell we love chinese food.....ha ha ha. I'm working up in my brain my next post. I have so much to blog about the "language/terms used in a fireman's life/household. Please be thinking about your own experiences to post as comments.
