Woo Woo Woo

Yesterday, my husband called while responding to a fire. He was going a back route to the fire, and happened to be going through our town. He wanted me to bring our son (18months) up to watch him go by. This is how the tradition started some 30 years ago. Growing up a fireman's daughter, I can remember hearing my dad get dispatched to a fire. Mom would load my brother & I in the truck and we'd go up to the local grocery store parking lot to watch dad drive by in his fire engine "code 3". As a child, I remember how excited I was to watch my dad go flying by while honking his airhorn and chirping sirens. After dad would go by, we'd go get an ice cream cone, then go to the airport to watch the firefighting airplanes go to the fire. So yesterday, this was a continuation of the tradition with our son, now. I wanted to share this post with you as well as the video I shot. Listen carefully to the end of the clip, it's cute!!
Only a proud fireman's son would do this.................
