Okay I just want to share with you something important about this blog. It is difficult to blog (when he's home) because I'm busy cooking dinner, working and doing laundry. Most of those things don't happen during fire season. So I want you to keep in contact with me via email, and please check the blog periodically. I just won't be posting near as much in the Fall/Winter/Spring months. However, you might be suprisedd and find a post every now and then. I think you'll agree with me (or at least I hope) that this site is great during our lonely months. But please please keep in touch with me. If you email me something to share with our other wives, I will post that. Otherwise, hang in there, it is almost over until next season.

I think you spoke too soon about it being almost over! My thoughts are with all of you down in south zone.
We unpacked my husbands Red Bag over the weekend to wash it all and repack it for winter, and now I am hurrying to get it all washed, dried and re-packed to possibly have him leave for So. Cal!

I thought fire season was over too, but my hubby just left tonight for CA. Is it just me or do the CA fires seem scarier. I think it is the Santa Anna's. So, I'm back on Inciweb trying to get every little bit of information I can. For some reason, knowing what is happening with the fire helps to comfort me.
