My husband's fire crew only has a few more weeks left of 2015 fire season, for them. This season has been busy and I must say I'm glad they're not gone on any assignments. It's nice having hubby home at night with us, playing with the kids and spending time together as a family.
This time of year, we enjoy the "reward" of a busy season.......the slow, more time home season. We are looking forward to our family vacation, which unlike most families, we vacation in the winter, not summer.
Hopefully your husband's season has been a successful one. Enjoy your time as family since it looks like the season is slowing down.
Although, I must not speak to loudly!! For us, living in SoCal we've yet to have our Santa Ana winds. The last few BIG fires ('03 & '07) were the end of October.
