Lord, today I say a special prayer for (wildland) firefighters.
You have given them such an important task.
I pray that You would give them strength to approach
places of tragedy and need with courage, skill and compassion.
I pray that You would protect them in body, heart and mind.
May their relationships with each other be a source of
encouragement and joy.
Bless them, Lord, as they so courageously
bless us with their service.

hello i'm a wife who husband is out fighting fires right know it is hard cause we have a 10 month old baby and she miss her daddy he gone for two weeks and sometimes a month and i want to know id any one else who is a fire fighter wife who can help me out and just chat. we are from oregon
