On the map

Years ago, before kids, I kept a map of the U.S. and marked off the areas & dates of fires where hubby and his crew went.  I bought at AAA a children's atlas map book, so now I show our son where Daddy is.  He also has a large floor map of the U.S. so before hubby left for his fire he showed our son where he was headed.  We are homeschool family so I like to look for opportunities to teach our son and he loves to ask questions.  In the atlas book, we mark and X on where Daddy is and a circle where we live.  If Daddy can't be home, there's no reason why we can travel with him, only our travel is in a book.
